In this episode of the Energy Pipeline Podcast, Ron Hoepner, VP of Engineering and Construction for the Gulf Stream Natural Gas Pipeline, discusses the project and its challenges. The Gulf Stream project was the largest offshore pipeline in the world when it was built 22 years ago and remains the longest interstate pipeline in the Gulf of Mexico. The project faced tight schedules, logistical challenges, and right-of-way issues, but ultimately met its deadline by just four hours. The project has since undergone several expansions and has been recognized for its success.
