Questions:
Found you recently seems like a great podcast. Based on the first part of your most recent Episode 10/3/17 I wanted to reach out and see if we could communicate and possibly get a dialogue going as we are a fairly new company founded to address the lack of oil & gas industry advancement. www.rarepetro.com
Guys,
Love the podcast. One quick question: could y’all up Jake’s volume on the podcast? Mark is loud-and-clear, Jake – not so much. Thanks!
I represent the Daniel Morgan Graduate School of National Security in Washington, D.C. The school hosted an event on Sept. 26th called the Forecasting Global Energy Geopolitics and Markets Conference. The conference focused on the global energy situation specific to U.S. and international security and stability, as well as its effect on U.S. and international markets and businesses.
I think that the keynote speaker, Dr. Paul Michael Wihbey, would make a great guest on your show to discuss the findings of the conference, the global energy market situation, and more. Dr. Wihbey is a Partner at CAN-AM Strategic Advisory and Adjunct Professor at the University of Port Harcourt – Nigeria.
I apologize in advance if this is not the proper channel for suggesting guests on your show.
Wanted to express a technical suggestion – I’ve been listening to Oil and Gas this week for a couple years; I am distracted almost weekly by the contrast of audio dynamics as Jake and Mark interact. I don’t know what your studio setup looks like, but Mark sounds like he is right next to the mic, but Jake sounds like he is three feet away from his mic. Jake occasionally does lean into the mic and it is noticible as he comes accross much better. I realize your God-given vocals are unique – yes, Mark you have a booming speaking voice. Just have been bugged to the point of taking a sec to reach out and let you know from a listener perspective, keeping aware of that would be awesome for your show.
Love the show. I have noticed that you and Jake have been incrementally featuring more segments about LNG markets and projects on the show over the last few months. I wanted to see if you could give a quick run down of how LNG marketing works, and if you could highlight some key similarities/differences (in your opinion) between LNG marketing versus natural gas and crude oil marketing. I would also like to ask that my identity remain anonymous if you decide to feature my question on the show. Thanks and keep up the great work.
